Acer Inc., no one's fool when it comes to challenging in the P.C space, have announced their plans to come into the ebook book reader arena soon this year.
Acer senior manager Jim Wong, head of the company's IT Goods branch, outlined the plans during an interview with Bloomberg at Acer's HQ in Taipei.
The day before Apple's supposed entry into the tablet sweeps-a gadget that would serve e book readers with others-Wong also said the company will in addition offer "hundreds" of apps online, programs which could sustain Google's Android platform, at present running on several Acer goods, over and above supporting Microsoft's Windows OS.
